ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany Police are searching for two men after a clerk was shot during an armed robbery at the Food Mart in the 1200 block of Dawson Road.

Officials said that the clerk was shot in the leg at some point after two black males entered the store around 10 p.m. on Thursday, wearing all black with their faces covered and robbed the store at gunpoint.

Police do not currently know the condition of the clerk at this time.

Officers are also searching for a four door sedan that is possibly a gray or black Chevy Lumina or Chevy Malibu that the gunmen may have used to leave the scene.

This is a developing story and WALB will update the information as details come in.
