THOMAS CO., GA (WALB) - Students in Thomas County are focusing on living positive lifestyles.
Bishop Hall Charter school started a program called peace jam.
On Thursday, students got a visit from Kit Cummings, founded of the power of peace project.
Cummings says with all of the national violence occurring it's important for students to be the change they wish to see.
"This is a program that says what you can do, can be, where you can go,what you can become, and they love it," said Cummings.
"Not only is it a social group, but we're all like family, we open up to each other," said Jason Johnson, Student.
