Club raises money for family of drowned Americus teen

SUMTER CO., GA (WALB) -

The Americus-Sumter Touchdown Club is coming together to help the family of Jamorrian Johnson, who drowned over the weekend.

They're selling special t-shirts with Johnson's number, 25, for Friday's home football game.

All the proceeds will go to Johnson's family. 

They are selling both long and short-sleeved shirts. 

Johnson played both football and baseball at Americus Sumter High. 

People have until Wednesday at noon to order a shirt.

You can also make a monetary donation to the Touchdown Club, and in the memo box write-in #25.
