LEE CO., GA (WALB) -

The Lee County courthouse has some time changes for Monday, October 31.

The change is due to a wasp removal project.

The courthouse will not open until 9 a.m.

A vendor will work to remove some large wasps' nests from the top of the courthouse before a planned renovation project.

If you typically park in the back, you're asked to park in an alternate area, including the front of the courthouse.

Officials urge people to be aware that wasps may be in the area after being dislodged.
