ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Visitors at Chehaw dressed up as their favorite characters and went trick-or-treating with zoo animals.

The 2nd annual Spooktacular was held Saturday morning at 10 a.m.

There was Halloween-themed fun for all ages, including games, face painting, and of course candy.

Last year over 500 people attended the inaugural Spooktacular, with an even bigger turnout expected this year.

"Chehaw has been a big part of the community for over 70 plus years. So to see people come out in mass again and to come out and participate and come out and have fun with us makes me feel pretty good," said Jackie Entz, Director of Education.

Chehaw estimated the number of visitors would be closer to 1,000 by the end of the day.

They had planned enough supplies for $1,200.
