MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) -

Moultrie Police Department is asking for the community's help finding two suspects for two different crimes.

One involves a man who made terroristic threats at a resident.

The other, a female burglarized a church.

"If you hear anything definitely give me a call back and we're go from there," said Moultrie PD Criminal Investigation Sgt. Shavarye Anderson.

A simple request Moultrie investigators are requesting residents to help identify two suspects wanted for two different crimes.

Both were caught on surveillance video, capturing a Hispanic man wearing neon green shirt and khaki shorts, and a baseball hat concealing his face inside of a Family Dollar.

"It seems as if he was watching her inside the store and when she went to checkout, he went outside and hid behind another parked vehicle and waited for her to go to her vehicle," said Anderson.

As the victim walked to her car, the man, described as five foot five with a medium build, walked up to the car with a gun in his hand, and threatened to kill her if she got out.

But the woman ran and banged on the door until she got help.

Officials said the suspect casually walked away.

"Nothing was taken, he didn't ask for anything which is kind of strange," said Anderson.

But that's not the only incident Moultrie PD needs helps with, the other one took at the United Methodist Church parking lot.

October 21st, this black woman used the church's credit card to make several purchases.

Officials said a wallet was taken from a member's purse inside of the church and someone took the card and cash out and left it in the parking lot.

"It's not worth it, you're taking someone else's money, or someone else's property," said Moultrie PD Investigator Sgt. David Jones.

If you have any information on either suspect, Moultrie PD are asking for you to call 229-985-3131.
