CALHOUN CO., GA (WALB) - It's time to go digging for stuff you want to get rid of... and maybe even make a buck.
You can sell your stuff at the 65-mile-long High Cotton Yard Sale.
It extends from Camilla to Fort Gaines on Highway 37.
For folks living there, it's something they look forward to every year.
Richard West proposed the idea of the sale back in 2006.
He says he talked to people last year who went home with as much as two-thousand dollars in sales.
"It's become a pretty big deal. In 10 years, it's remarkable. We didn't think it would last 10 years but now it might last 20. And it generates lots of dollars to go in people's pockets because there are no fees and licenses and all that so if people have got some stuff to sell they just put it out and set it," said West.
The yard sale will be held the second Saturday in November.
