Some young people in South Georgia say they are excited to cast their first vote for a president.

Jacob Cone, 18, of Thomasville, will be voting for the first time this election season and he plans to do vote during early voting.

He said he thinks it's important to be educated at a young age about politics.

"I think its one of the most important things because you need to know what the future is going to look like and so its important to be educated on registering to vote and voting. You go to the polls and you choose whose going to make decisions about our generation," said Cone.

Cone attended a presidential campaign rally and called it an exciting milestone in his life.
