ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A group of special needs kids kicked off their Halloween festivities on Wednesday night.
Dozens of kids including Challenger League members enjoyed Trunk or Treat at Albany's First Free Will Baptist Church.
There were 28 carnival booths, face painting and lots of door prizes.
It was also a chance for the Challenger Leaguers to socialize with other kids.
"It teaches him skills that he wouldn't normally get. It helps him with interaction with kids with disabilities as well as regular kids," said Sabrina Little.
The Challenger League still plans to take the kids out to trick or treat Monday night.
