THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - Thomasville Police Department has arrested two men in connection with a string of vehicle break-ins.
Officials say they have seen a spike in vehicle break-ins recently.
Cortoayvius Thurman and Ricardo Williams were arrested in connection with the thefts.
Surveillance photos of the two were released after seven break-ins happened around Archbold Hospital.
"The motive has been for the individuals was for them to check doors to see if they are unlocked. They are getting more abrasion, if they see valuables inside they are going to forcibly enter the vehicle," said Captain Maurice Holmes.
Police say the two were breaking in and stealing items from locked and unlocked vehicles.
"We know they were together on two entering autos, however the other ones, apparently the second subject Mr. Thurman was working alone on those," said Captain Holmes.
Thurman was charged with seven counts of Entering an Auto, with no set bond.
Williams was charged with one count of Entering an Auto with a $2,100 bond.
