Fall fun in SWGA

The temperatures are cooling off a bit, and fall is alive and well in South Georgia!

Check out the activities you can do with your family:

Mark's Melon Patch: Hayrides, corn maze, spooky house and more. See website for hours.

Wild Adventures: Terror in the Wild - Friday and Saturday from dusk until 11:00 p.m.

Georgia Veteran's State Park: Crisp Days of Fall celebration includes hayrides, pumpkin decorating and a haunted trail. See website for hours.

Porterfield United Methodist Church: Trunk or Treat - October 26th, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Flint RiverQuarium/Thronateeska: Tricks and Treats - October 28th, 5 - 7 p.m.(Wear your Halloween costume for special admission! $6 with costume, $8 without. Thronateeska or Flint RiverQuarium Members admitted at no charge!)

Chehaw Park: Spooktacular at Chehaw - October 29th, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Free with zoo admission. Costume contest at 1 p.m.

Americus: Downtown trick or treat - October 27th, after 5 p.m. pet parade.

Friendship Baptist Church: Fall Festival - October 28th 7 p.m.

Early County: Pumpkins on the Square - October 27th 6 p.m.

Albany YMCA: Week O'Week. October 27 - 29th, 6 - 10 p.m.

Life Point Church: Trunk or treat - October 26th, 7 - 9 p.m.

Leesburg United Methodist Church: Truck or treat - October 26th 6 - 8 p.m.

Haunted Forest on Fleming Road: October 28-30th, from sunset until everyone is done. $10 a person.

Unity Baptist Church: Block part at Lawhorne Park October 29th, 4:30 - 8 p.m.

American Legion Post 512: Annual Public Halloween party, October 29th, 1 - 4 p.m.

Albany: Trick or treating, October 31st, 5 - 8 p.m.

    Despite the scattered showers, we saw Saturday some people just couldn't resist hitting the water. In the morning, the Kinchafoonee Creek was at a good water level for boaters.
