THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

Thomas University just finished up a big renovation on a historic building.

The college has completed it's athletic facility.

The facility won't only be used for athletes. Several classrooms were also added.

Art, Music, and Humanities programs were moved into the building.

Keeping the history of the old Magnolia High School in the building was important to administrators.

"We we're able to use a lot of the structure of the facility in the same was it was in magnolia high school when it was here and the chappell school when it was here. And just clean paint, redo carpet, redo ceiling tiles and that sort of thing," said Grady Enlow, Vice President for Institutional Advancement.

The magnolia campus was just renamed. It was formally known as Thomas University's west campus.
