LEE CO., GA (WALB) -

Dougherty and Lee County law enforcement have recovered a stolen vehicle off Flowing Well Road in Lee County.

A passerby reported the vehicle Friday morning.

Detectives believe the vehicle is related to a series of stolen property they made arrests for earlier this week.

Dougherty County Police Capt. Tom Jackson said Friday that the car most likely surfaced because of their continuing investigation.

"We've been looking for this car for the last few days, and we've talked to some people in the last few days, and obviously over the course of talking to those people, this vehicle has turned up," said Capt. Jackson.

This is the last vehicle detectives were searching for in that case.

Michael Crews, 41, is still wanted for burglary in connection to this case.

Anyone with any information about the whereabouts of Michael Crews is asked to call CrimeSTOPPERS at (229) 436-TIPS.

The vehicle has been returned to its owner.
