ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Albany Museum of Art will us a grant to help kids.
The $4,000 Vibrant Community Grant from the Georgia Council for the Arts will fund after school programs to give kids from the Boys & Girls Clubs and Girls Inc. hands-on experience with art.
"It means a lot we can do a lot more. It give us the flexibility to hire more teachers, and broaden the scope and help more kids," said Albany Museum of Art Director of Education Chloe Hinton.
Albany Symphony Association and Lee County Library System also received grants.
