FITZGERALD, GA (WALB) - A south Georgia man celebrated the publication of his first novel Thursday night.
Ben Hill County's Blue and Gray museum hosted a book signing for Chet Powell's book "Fitzgerald."
The wildlife rescuer and retired law enforcer's novel is based on the history of the city.
The museum that hosted the event plays a role in the book.
"It actually figures into the story," said Powell. "During the investigation of the murder he finds a lot of the clues to solve it here in this building."
You can buy the book on Amazon and at the blue and gray museum.
