THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

The Thomas County high school special education program opened up a business in their classroom this week.

Students in the class are selling treats such as cookies and casseroles.

Over the summer, their classroom got a makeover to offer enhanced opportunities for the students.

Each student has an individual role in the business.

"It's their responsibility to know their job. Its my responsibility to teach it but it's their responsibility to know it. It changes every week so by the end everyone will know how to do everything in this room," said Laura Reid, Thomas County Teacher.

Aside from baking, the students also offer a laundry service.

If you are interested in supporting their business , you can contact the high school.
