ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Albany hardware store said that a bold shoplifter stole more than $2,400 dollars in tools.

Lowe's on North Westover reported that a man bought a cabinet from their store on Monday.

They believe he packed it with tools, concealing them from the cashier.

Loss prevention officials with Lowe's named a suspect and said he had hit several Southwest Georgia businesses with the same shoplifting scheme.

Albany Police are investigating.
