MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) -

Big crowds are expected in Moultrie this week for the 39th annual Sunbelt Ag Expo.

Organizers said the Expo brings in visitors to not only Moultrie but also the surrounding counties.

An estimated 80,000 people attended the event in previous years.

The Chamber of Commerce Interm president said that it will keep local businesses in the area busy all week.

"Hotels fill up, restaurants..people eat, as well as gas stations, people need gas to travel around so it has a huge impact. We're very excited to have the show," said Tommie Beth Willis.

The expo will be held Tuesday through Thursday.

More than 1,200 vendors and exhibits are expected to be set up.
