THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

Cancer survivors in Thomasville were getting ready to strut their stuff on the runway. Archbold Memorial Hospital hosted their 5th annual Pink Affair Fashion Show on Friday night.

It's one of biggest events of the year for Archbold. There were 400 tickets sold to the event.

The models that walked the runway all knew firsthand what it's like to fight breast cancer.

Models wore clothing from shops in downtown Thomasville.

This year the funds from the event will go towards the breast cancer navigation program at the hospital.

The program is one that the Navigation Coordinator, Debbie Beeson, says is near and dear to her heart.

"Its something that's really important to me, this is just one aspect of the way the patients are navigated so we do a lot of other therapies, yoga, and massage therapy," said Beeson.

The program helps patients from the time they are diagnosed and throughout all the treatment stages.
