ALBANY, GA (WALB) - If you've not registered to vote – the clock is ticking! Tuesday, October the 11th is your final opportunity to vote in the November 8th election.
If you haven't registered, here are a few things you need to know:
- First, you'll need a Georgia driver's license or state-issued ID card
- You'll also need to be a US citizen, be a resident of the county in which you're registering, be at least 17 ½ years old to register and 18 years old to vote
- Also, you cannot be serving a sentence (including probation or parole) for conviction of a felony, and not have been found mentally incompetent by a judge.
