ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany man, robbed at gunpoint this week, has spoken out to continue to try to convince young men to not fall into the trap of crime.

Christopher Jenkins is the host and producer of a YouTube show, promoting a positive message for the youth of Albany, urging them to believe in themselves.

This week, he was robbed at gunpoint just outside his family business.

Two young men forced him to the ground and stole his shoes.

Jenkins said that he is not mad at the robbers and hopes to use the experience to turn others away from crime.

"That's the reason I started See The Vizion, because I wanted to show that there are other avenues that you can take with your talents or your thoughts or your vision. That you may be aspiring to do, you can do it," said Jenkins.

Jenkins said he hopes to use this experience to convince other Albany youth that crime is not the road to success.
