Former Money Tree execs testify

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Executives with a failed business called the Money Tree testified in Albany Federal Court Friday about the company's disputed finances.

Investors are suing the Martin family of Bainbridge, and several of their business interests, claiming the family deliberately siphoned thousands of dollars out of the failing business for their own gain.

Money Tree Chief Financial Officer Steven Morrison and Interstate Motor Club CEO Debby Inlow testified about how the Money Tree operated, and how it was intertwined with the Martin Family's other businesses.

The lawsuit is expected for continue for at least another week.
