ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany Technical College is looking for more students in their Industrial Operations Technician program to meet the demand local industries have for workers.

Right now, the new program has 22 students.  The school is partnering with companies that want to hire at least 100 people.

P&G, Miller Coors, Tara Foods, and SASCO helped set up the two semester program to give training for jobs in their plants. The Albany Tech program also transfers for further education goals.

Albany Tech Vice President For Center For Business Solutions Matt Trice said "To not only get that job, but to be able to move up in an organization or organizations, through advancing their careers through education."

Enrollment is now open for winter semester.  You can learn more by linking to the college's website here.
