TIFT CO., GA (WALB) -

Tift County High School's marching band is hosting the Spirit of the South Band Show this Saturday at Brodie Field.

This is the first time following a ten year hiatus.

Over 15 bands will be showcased...including the Albany State University show band.

Curt Kimbrough, Tift County's band director, is using the fundraiser to help raise money to travel to the Allstate Sugar Bowl in December.

"It also is a great opportunity for us to show great hospitality to these students from around the area, showcase Tift County and what we have to offer, " said Kimbrough.

Tickets can be purchased for eight dollars at Tift County High School tomorrow and Friday.

They can also be purchased Saturday for ten dollars at the gate.
