ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

One way in making sure the people of Albany are registered to vote would be to throw in some cars and bikes to get them revved up.

96.3 WJIZ's annual car & bike show took place at the US 19 Dragway on Sunday.

It was a chance for family fun with bounce houses, vendors, national artists, car show racing, and a chance for unregistered voters to get registered.

iHeart Radio sponsored the event.

Cars and bikes were showcased throughout the entire speedway.

Mizz Monique of 96.3 says the main focus of the day is voter registration.

"With the election coming up, it is important that we get our listeners to vote," said Mizz Monique.

Over 100 cars were expected there.

The performers were set up to go on at about 6:30 p.m. The show goes on until 9:30 p.m.
