Early County honored NFL safety Shawn Williams Friday night before their home game.
The 2009 graduate of Early County returned to Blakely to have his jersey retired.
The Cincinnati Bengals safety was fresh off a Thursday night win over the dolphins.
Williams had 59 tackles in his senior year as a Bobcat.
Last year he recorded 2 interceptions for the Bengals who drafted him back in 20-13 out of the university of Georgia.
Williams said he really felt the love.
"Just to be able to come back and see all of the support that I'm receiving from everybody, it really does mean a lot."
Williams' Bengals have the weekend off before heading to Texas next Sunday to face the Cowboys.
