The Grand Jury indicted a Dougherty County man accused of operating the largest marijuana grow house in county history.

44 year old Tracy Roberts was indicted on four counts, including trafficking in marijuana and possession with intent to distribute.

On April 6th, a Dougherty County Police officer smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from this house in the 3400 block of Sylvester Road.

Albany Dougherty Drug Unit agents found Roberts inside, and seized 289 marijuana plants along with $20,000 worth of grow lights, fans, and equipment.

"Very sophisticated drug house.  With plants and the items to care for them.  And it was in an isolated location," said Greg Edwards Dougherty D.A.

Drug agents have not charged anyone else in the case.
