Albany church welcomes Grammy-winning gospel artist

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Albany church will welcome a Grammy-winning gospel artist Sunday, October 2.

Guy Penrod's "Pray about Everything" tour will stop at First Free Will Baptist Church.

He performed to a packed house there four years ago.

This weekend, he will return to celebrate the church's 65th anniversary.

"We use our building for different events, community events," said Mark Walker, the church's music minister.

"We are a part of the community."

The concert is Sunday, October 2, at 5 p.m.

Tickets are $20 at the church office or on itickets.com. Tickets are $25 at the door Sunday.
