ATLANTA, GA (WALB) -

A missing Thomasville 2-year-old that was found Wednesday night in Atlanta has been returned to his dad.

Officers with the Atlanta Police Department said that Jaiden Jackson was found in the Riverdale area.

They said his grandmother dropped him off at a Kroger grocery store.

Deshena Douglas, who does not have custody of the toddler, took him to his uncle.

Investigators plan to charge Douglas with kidnapping when they catch her.

She and two other adults are also wanted on forgery charges.

"Warrants were secured for kidnapping on the grandmother and the aunt Dana Jackson. Due to the fact that they were keeping the child and avoiding us to be apprehended by the law. Further, we had no idea on what their thoughts or intentions was with this child," said Capt. Maurice Holmes with the Thomasville Police Department.

Jaiden spent the night with his aunt and uncle in Atlanta.

His father picked him up on Thursday.
