Officials say that the woman whose body was found in a vehicle at a Sylvester Road convenience store Wednesday evening was Leslie Peeler.

She was 27 years old, lived in Albany, and had family in Worth County.

Peeler was with her sister, Ashley Sellers, who driving the truck they were in.

Police say Peeler's death is an apparent overdose, but the investigation continues.

Investigators say Peeler's sister Sellers stopped at the store to use the phone to call 911, and then apparently left because she was wanted.   Apparent drug paraphernalia was also seized from inside the truck.

"We asked the GBI to come in and process the body and the scene," said Captain Tom Jackson of DCP. "They did collect some items.  They will be sent to the crime lab and we will make a determination if they had any bearing in the death."

Sellers, 25, had two outstanding warrants on unrelated charges, and was taken to jail.

No immediate cause of death was apparent on the scene .
