TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

Investigators are asking for help to track down a man who broke into a Tift County elementary school.

Surveillance cameras caught the man inside Charles Spencer Elementary a few weeks ago.

He got in through a construction entrance in the back of the building and stole some electronics.

School officials say their good relationship with law enforcement has helped with the investigation.

"We do have officers at our school all day and Charles Spencer is one of those. They have been undergoing a construction project too and of course, we always make sure we amp up security then because we do have construction workers who are coming in and out that aren't normal school system staff, said Director of Communications for Tift County Schools, Stacey Beckham.

If you can help identify the burglar... you're asked to call the Tifton Police Department T (229) 382-3132.
