ALBANY, GA (WALB) - South Georgia gasoline retailers said the availability of fuel is increasing slowly, although the price is still rising.
Woodall's Convenience store owners said the supply of gas for their stores is getting better daily.
Last week Woodall's had some stores run out of diesel fuel and premium gas after a pipeline in Alabama shut down.
This week gasoline is flowing down the pipeline to the stores slowly.
"The panic is over anyway. You know they just didn't know, there was not any precedent for this kind of thing. So they didn't know what to expect. And there just wasn't any product at the terminals," said Wright Woodall, owner of Woodall's Convenience store.
Woodall said the price for gasoline to the stores keeps increasing, but he expects it to come down when the supply stabilizes.
