The Colquitt County Sheriff's Office said that a person has died following an accident on Highway 37 near Moultrie.

Officials have identified the victim as Charles Harrod, Jr, 16, who died on scene.

The accident happened near mile marker 20, near the intersection of Baldy Road, around 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Officials said Harrod was traveling westbound in a Jeep, while a semi truck pulling a mobile home was eastbound

Harrod failed to maintain lane, crossed the center line, and struck the mobile home on the drivers side.

Harrod rotated counterclockwise, and ended up in the north ditch, facing south.
