ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Gas stations are operating fully and most stations are reporting normal gas levels.
However the price of gas has gone up.
According to Triple-A, the average gas price in Albany jumped 26-cents in the last week.
That is the third highest price of the 8 cities Triple-A tracks in Georgia.
The price seen most throughout the city is 2 dollars and twenty four cents.
Albany resident, Nettie Smith, is upset the prices are still climbing.
"What I don't understand is why they would pass it on to the customers. Because the gas leak, we had nothing to do with it. Why pass it along to us" wondered Smith.
The leak has now been fixed.
The price is expected to go down on Tuesday according to Triple A.
