5 of 7 sentences handed down in Norman Park murder case

NORMAN PARK, GA (WALB) - Five of the seven defendants charged in the Norman Park murder of John Hester, Sr. in 2015 have been sentenced to prison.

They entered plea deals to lesser charges.

Brandon Wynn, Derek Phillips,Ty'Cameron Hayes and I-Key Pinkins were all sentenced to 10 years for criminal attempt to commit home invasion and another eight years in prison and 4 on probation for burglary.

Adrian Robinson will serve 10 years in prison for the home invasion charge.

Tykerious Jones has not been sentenced yet.

He testified in the murder trial of Christian Glover who was found not guilty of murdering Hester but was convicted on other charges including armed robbery.

Glover and Jones will be sentenced on October 7.
