ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A South Albany store owner is offering a $1000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the two masked gunmen that robbed his store late Sunday night.

Two men, dressed all in black, both armed with guns, ran into the WestSide Grocery on West Gordon Avenue about 11:10 Sunday night.

While one man held a gun pointed right at the clerk, another went behind the counter, also pointing his gun at the clerk, and took money out of the cash register. The gunman made the clerk open the second cash register, and took that money as well.

Police say the same two men were going into another convenience store on West Gordon to rob it  about ten minutes earlier, but were scared away by a car pulling into the parking lot.  So it's believed they went to this nearby store and robbed it.  Clerks believe these same two men robbed the Neighborhood Grocery last month.

Now the WestSide Grocery store owner is offering a one thousand dollar to get these dangerous armed robbers off the streets.

If you have any information, call CRIMESTOPPERS at 436-TIPS.
