An Albany woman testified on Thursday in the aggravated assault trial of the man charged with shooting her, offering support to the defendant.
Artinitia Stringer is accused of shooting his ex-wife Debbie Stringer in the face with a 22 caliber rifle in November 2015.
On Thursday, Debbie testified that she didn't think he did it, even though prosecutors said Stringer admits to the shooting.
The defense claims they were role playing and it was an accident.
Prosecutors said Debbie suffered loss of cognitive function after the shooting.
The trial will continue on Friday.
