ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Federal Bureau of Investigation believes that the same man robbed banks in Dothan, Alabama and Albany, Georgia, within a three-week period.
On August 18, a man walked into the Wells Fargo Bank on Montgomery Highway, in Dothan,and gave the teller with a note, indicated he had a gun, and demanded money.
On On September 9, a man walked into the People's South Bank at 701 North Westover Boulevard, Albany, and did the same thing.
The suspect is described as a black man, about six feet tall, wearing an army green hat and shirt. He was seen leaving the bank in a white, older model four door sedan, possibly a late 90's to early 2000's Chevrolet Impala.
Surveillance photos of the suspect from Albany and Dothan appear to show the same man, and car.
