Thomasville man accused of killing infant daughter pleads guilty

THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

On Tuesday a Thomasville man accused of killing his infant daughter over two years ago plead guilty.

Damien Holloway plead guilty to the charges of voluntary manslaughter and cruelty to a child.

His sentencing is set for October 31st.

He could face up to 20 years on each charge.

9-month old Madelyn Holloway died of traumatic head injury in February of 2014.

GBI agents did not arrest Holloway until 5 months into the investigation.

When Holloway was first arrested, his family told WALB he would never intentionally harm his child.
