Georgia Democrats gather in Albany

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Georgia General Assembly House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams says the group celebrated the opening of a Clinton campaign office in the city.

Abrams also spoke about her support for independent state house candidate Kenneth Zachary.

She says education and Medicaid expansion will be important issues in the upcoming election.

"I'm not a partisan for the sake of it. I believe you need people to speak for the communities they represent, but when we get to the capital, we have to work together."

And, don't forget, the election is on Tuesday November 8th.
