On the 102-year anniversary of the last execution for the old jail in Ashburn, The Paranormal Society of Middle Georgia went searching for ghosts.

The Crime and Punishment Museum in downtown Ashburn used to be the jail house.

It was also the sight of executions of criminals.

The Paranormal Society has been fascinated in this location due to the high level of paranormal activity there.

The society also hosts ghost tours in different locations throughout Georgia.

"Basically, It's just where you can come in and be a ghost hunter for a night and use all the equipment that you see on television," said Jeffrey Vaughan.

The ghost hunts are led by Vaughan and his crew.

Vaughn is the founder of the society and says people always enjoy the tours and the overall experience.

To book a ghost hunt or reserve a spot on a planned hunt, contact Jeffrey Vaughan (478) 508-2645.
