BLAKELY, GA (WALB) - First Thursday kicked off in Blakely for the first time this year.
Village Pizza opened it's doors for the first time since the vandalism over the weekend.
The Chamber of Commerce sold baked goods as well as raffle tickets for Yeti tumblers.
They also had a 360 page cook book from all over including some information about Blakely.
Restaurants kept their doors open late and vendors set up during the afternoon.
The Chamber president said he is excited for the community to come together and show people what the city has to offer.
"Spending time here really gives you a feeling of community and of the small town quality of life and what we all love so much so we just hope everybody gets out and is able to have a good time tonight," said CEO and President of the Chamber of Commerce Kyle Kornegay.
For the next few months the city will have their First Thursday event.
Kornegay says they are hoping to have live music next time.
