ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany mother has been indicted for sexual exploitation of a child, accused of forcing her daughter to perform sex acts and recorded them on video.
The Dougherty County grand jury indicted Joynetta Stoutley on four counts of sexual exploitation of a child.
Prosecutors said that in March, Stoutley forced her nearly 16-year-old daughter to perform sex acts on tape.
"We can't really look into the mind of any individual, but certainly the issue is whether there was an intent to do that. That is the legal issue," said Dougherty District Attorney Greg Edwards.
If convicted, Stoutley could face up to 40 years in prison for each of the 4 counts.
