ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany man is indicted for firing several shots out of a moving car as he drove across much of Albany.
The District Attorney Greg Edwards said he'll go after the maximum sentence because of the danger to the community.
Xavier Vickerson was indicted for two counts of aggravated assault.
Prosecutors said on April 7th, Vickerson chased another car across much of South and East Albany, firing shots at the two women in the car.
No one was hurt, but the D.A. said Vickerson put many people in danger across Albany.
"Where this defendant is ultimately found guilty, the state would be probably asking the court to impose an appropriate sentence to reflect this type of conduct," said Edwards.
Vickerson could face up to 40 years in prison if convicted.
