EARLY CO., GA (WALB) -

Teachers in Early County are trying to keep up with the latest technology and integrate it into their classrooms.

More teachers are using Google chrome books and taking their classes to computer labs.

It is something the school system has made a top priority.

With Google classroom, teachers can post assignments, give  handouts, and give assessments right on the computer.

"Even just us being in school five weeks. When I tell them we aren't going to use the computers they get freaked out because they are into so much technology already that this is kind of part of their lifestyle," said ECHS special education teacher Windy Cox.

Cox said when students submit their work online, rather than just turning a hard copy, there is no excuse for being late.
