THOMAS CO., GA (WALB) -

One Thomas County student will be serving beside State Superintendent Richard Woods this school year.

Caleb Moore was selected to service on the Student Advisory Council.

Members of the council discuss state policies in the classroom.

They also serve as ambassadors for their schools.

Moore says hes happy to take on a role that could help him be one step closer to his dream job.

"I plan on teaching English for a decade and then becoming an assistant principal. And I feel like I can implement this here and then when I become a principal in the real world," said Moore.
