A 50 year old Worth County man, on his way to work, was killed in an early morning crash.

Alan Wright was killed about 4:20 this morning when his Suzuki motorcycle struck a Ford Pickup Truck on Highway 300 at the intersection of Highway 32.

The investigation continues, but State Patrol troopers say Pat Williams of Lee County did not see the motorcycle on 300 and made a left turn in front of Wright.

"As the vehicle made the left turn the motorcycle stuck the truck. The person on the motorcycle was killed. At this time the Georgia State Patrol SCRT team, they are doing an investigation," said GSP Sgt. John VanLandingham.

Troopers said Williams was on his way to Dublin when the fatal crash happened.

No charges have been filed as the investigation continues.
