DOUGHERTY CO., GA (WALB) -

More criminal charges are added Wednesday against a Dougherty County woman accused of stealing hundreds of dollars from her disabled parents, leaving them without food.

24 year old Ashlyn Hatcher had 6 more counts of Financial transaction card fraud and one count of exploiting and depriving essential service to a disabled person filed against her Wednesday.

Dougherty County Police say Hatcher used her father's bank card to steal all her parent's money.
"They were actually receiving food from the church because they couldn't even buy food to eat," said Dougherty County Police Captain Tommy Jackson. "So we felt strongly there needed to be a charge for abusing the elderly."

Hatcher was originally arrested Saturday. She is being held in the Dougherty County jail on a $10,500 bond.
