ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A popular DJ in Albany is teaching a new line dance class in downtown Albany.

Marlo Newbill, better known as D-J Dollar Bill, is giving students a good workout while they dance to Hip-Hop, Latin and Reggae music.

The class started off with five people. Now there are more than 50 on the dance floor.

Downtown Manager Latoya Cutts was invited to check it out tonight.

"We definitely want to bring more events downtown and to bring more impact and more new people to see what downtown has to offer," said Newbill.

The classes are Monday and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. and cost $5 per class.
