ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Hinkle Family made three stops in Albany today to sing to elderly citizens.

The singers said they decided nearly 16 years ago to bring ministry to nursing homes, senior centers and retirement centers all over the country.

They said they want to let senior citizens know they're not forgotten.

"And so we try to take the gospel through music and preaching and try to just be a lesson to folks," said Paul Hinkle.

Hinkle said the group is made up of his parents, his wife, two children, brother, sister-in-law and himself.

Friday they will perform in Valdosta.

They travel 365 days a year.
